Tenant Fees

When you have agreed on the property of your choice, Castle Estates (Nottingham) will provide you with a Tenancy Application Pack. This will explain not only the next stages of your application but any fee which is due before you sign your Tenancy Agreement and any fees which may become payable during and after the tenancy.

Below is a list of our current fee scales. At any time you are interested in a property, please ask a member of staff for a full breakdown of fees that may be payable before, during and after a tenancy

Initial Contract Fee £114.00

Fees that may become applicable depending on your circumstances after tenancy starts:

Renewal Tenancies £96.00
Statutory Periodic £60.00
A fee will be payable to cover the administration costs associated with the conversion of contracts.

Checking-out Fee £36.00
This charge is made to cover the inventory clerk’s costs to attend and conduct the final check-out inspection.

Dilapidations Administration Fee Min- £36.00
If through non-compliance with any of the provisions outlined in the terms and conditions the check-in, check-out or any other
appointment cannot be completed on the agreed date, and through no fault of Castle Estates, then a fee will be charged for the
additional appointment. This also applies if a later appointment is necessary on the same day.

Providing References £36.00
A fee will be payable if a reference is requested by a third party at any time during or after the term of the tenancy.

Monthly Arrears Charge £36.00
This fee is charged each month that an account is in arrears. The fee covers the additional work involved in administering the
account, including letters and telephone calls.

Property Visit £60.00 
If an arrears situation necessitates a visit by the Agent to the property because of a lack of response to telephone calls, letters
or emails then a fee will be charged.
